The Foundation also offers expert advice on estate planning, wills and deferred giving. All contributions are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Sunshine Foundation, Inc. is not affiliated with any other Sunshine Foundation and is not a wish granting organization. All funds raised are used to support the work of Sunshine Inc. of Northwest Ohio and people with developmental disabilities in our region. The Foundation does not accept outside requests for funding. Sunshine Foundation, Inc. provides funds for capital projects such as renovating resident living areas, remodeling the therapy pool, paving the parking lot and other major projects. The Foundation also helps meet resident needs for clothing, adaptive equipment, vacations and animal therapy services, among other projects.
