Sunshine Foundation Inc.Collaborative Artists Bring Holiday Joy
Artists from the Sunshine Vocational Center are sharing their holiday spirit with Sunshine friends, supporters, employees and anyone else who wants to give the gift of Sunshine this holiday season.

At the request of Betty Holland, Sunshine's executive director, a group of artists who participate in the Sunshine Vocational Center Collaborative Arts Program got together to design two holiday cards for agency use and sale to the public.

The first card, a Christmas tree painted by Ryan, will be used to send holiday greetings to Sunshine Foundation donors and special friends of the agency. The second card, a delightful elf design, is available for sale at the following locatio...
Sunshine Foundation Inc. Sunshine Foundation Overview
Sunshine Foundation, Inc., was established in 1984 to improve the quality of life of the individuals served by Sunshine Inc. of Northwest Ohio. The mission of Sunshine is to enhance the lives of people with developmental disabilities and their families.

Sunshine strives to create loving communities by providing residential and related services to more than 900 individuals and their families across Northwest Ohio. Sunshine is guided by the vision of its founders, Roy and Georgette Engler, and values of the Mennonite Faith.

The vast majority of Sunshine, Inc.'s funding comes from state and federal sources. However, these funds do not provide the extras needed by the people we serve. From custom-fitted wheelchairs to clothing to major construction projects, the Foundation and its supporters are there to provide needed programs, projects and personnel.

The Foundation's endowment fund helps ensure that Sunshine's high quality services will continue in an era of uncertain government funding. Private donations of all kinds are critically important to Sunshine's future.
