Sunshine Foundation Inc.Eat Pizza to Raise Funds for Dental Needs
Supporting Sunshine Inc. of Northwest Ohio is as easy as pie. Dine at PizzaPapalis on June 7 from 5 PM – 9 PM for dinner and help raise dough for the residents and clients of Sunshine at the same time. Sunshine is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing residential, vocational and family support services to people with developmental disabilities.

Susan’s Smiles of Happiness, a restricted account managed by Sunshine Foundation, Inc., was established by Diane Hamilton, mother of Susan, a long time resident of Sunshine Children’s Home. Sunshine Foundation Inc. Sunshine Foundation Overview
Sunshine Foundation, Inc., was established in 1984 to improve the quality of life of the individuals served by Sunshine Inc. of Northwest Ohio. The mission of Sunshine is to enhance the lives of people with developmental disabilities and their families.

Sunshine strives to create loving communities by providing residential and related services to more than 900 individuals and their families across Northwest Ohio. Sunshine is guided by the vision of its founders, Roy and Georgette Engler, and values of the Mennonite Faith.

The vast majority of Sunshine, Inc.'s funding comes from state and federal sources. However, these funds do not provide the extras needed by the people we serve. From custom-fitted wheelchairs to clothing to major construction projects, the Foundation and its supporters are there to provide needed programs, projects and personnel.

The Foundation's endowment fund helps ensure that Sunshine's high quality services will continue in an era of uncertain government funding. Private donations of all kinds are critically important to Sunshine's future.
